現在的華小已不在只是華人的華小，隨著中文在社會越來越重要。許多小學已開始多元化的教育形式。而在林明這個由錫礦業繁榮到落寞所形成的村落，產生了許多當地元素與小學結合，以達到多元化和具有當地色彩的校園

“Chinese Primary School” today is no longer a Chinese Primary School exclusively for Chinese students. As Chinese becomes an increasingly important language in society, many primary schools have begun implementing diversified education models. And in Sungai Lembing, a village that has been formed because of its once flourishing tin mining industry, there has seen development of integrating numerous local elements with the primary schools, which have thereby created diversified campuses with rich local colors.
