Under the designing concept of “Old Architecture,” “Historical Context + Sugar” is used to create a sensuous history-revitalized space. People have discovered that the red-brick warehouse built during the period of Japanese rule is still standing at the south side, and the exterior wall is still showing faintly the words “Great Japan Sugar Refinery Warehouse.” 
On the other hand, under “Newly Added Architecture,” “Characteristics of Traditional Southeast Asian Architecture” will be used to create a more modern image of Southeast Asian architecture. One of Southeast Asia’s unique features is exactly its stilt houses, which reflects the tropical climate of Southeast Asia. 
Connecting the relationship of the two via “Garden” so that there wouldn’t be a space with two distinctively varied traits, but only a diverse cultural exchange area will be created.
